A Tour of Glendale High and Social Reception in the GHS Cafeteria, 2:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Glendale High School 1440 Broadway Glendale CA 91205 The tour of the school will being at 2:00 p.m., Social Reception in the Cafeteria, 3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Estimate is $25.00. And later that day... Class of '72 Aloha Spirit Chevy Chase Country Club 3067 E. Chevy Chase Drive Glendale, CA 91206 7:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. Estimate is $25.00. Both events: estimate $50.00. We will be having a family picnic on Sunday, August 12, at Verdugo Park from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We will be sending out formal letters of invitation soon. A Tour of Glendale High and social reception in the GHS Cafeteria. 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm - estimate is $25.00 Class of 72 Aloha Spirit This will take place at the Chevy Chase Country Club. 7:00 pm - 12:00 am -estimate is $25.00 Both events - estimate $50.00 Date August 11, 2012 Time 2:00 pm - 12:00 am Additional details Greetings everyone, Tonight the planning committee met and finalized the events for our 40th reunion. We had a great committee meeting and this promises to be a great event. Here is the schedule: First, we will be going back to Glendale High on August 11th for a tour and a lite appetizer social hour. The tour of the school will being at 2:00 p.m. Social reception in the cafeteria (no the staff won't be providing the food) 3:00pm - 4:30 pm. The cost for this event is $25.00 From 4:30pm to 6:30 pm we thought folks may want to have an early dinner, to to a bar and catch up or go back to their hotel and rest. The main party will begin at 7:00 pm at the Chevy Chase Country Club. We've made it a Hawai'ian theme, so get out those Hawai'ian shirts and dresses. There will be a No-Host Bar along with appetizers an possibly a dessert bar. We have also rented the dance floor, so dancing will be available (thought Jeanne McConnell & Val Paine would like this). This will not be a sit down dinner. Just appetizers and drinks. We have the space from 7pm to Midnight. The cost for the Chevy Chase Country Club event will be $25.00 0If you're ready to spend most of the afternoon and evening with your fellow classmates, the charge for both events will be $50.00 You may wonder why we split the events and had two separate prices for each. Many, many folks were not into spending $100-$150 for a rubber chicken dinner. With the economy being what it is, this makes it more reasonable and easier for people to attend either or both events.
