Underclassman Portrait Proofs Are Here!
10th graders: click here to see sophomore class yearbook portrait proof pages. If you'd like to see high resolution print outs go to the yearbook room, E156 (6110), between 2nd and 5th period by Tuesday, February 9.
The deadline for submitting corrections is Tuesday, February 9. This will be your ONLY opportunity to correct errors before the book is published. The yearbook staff, advisor and the school will not be responsible for omissions or typographical errors not called to their attention.
If you had your portrait taken in October check for the following:
1. Is your photograph included in the correct underclassman portrait section?
2. Is your name spelled correctly?
Class Council
This is a meeting of all interested members of your class to help plan events for the sophomore class. A few weeks into the school year there will be an announcement in the bulletin about class council meetings for all grade levels. ANY SOPHOMORE can attend the Sophomore Class Council meeting. It will be at lunch in a classroom to be announced. There you'll meet your elected officers and find out about spirit opportunities and upcoming events that might interest you. All class councils meet weekly, on Tuesday, during lunch. It's an easy way to meet new people and make new friends. You'll be surprised how many students have the same interests as you do. Your class advisors are Ms. Andrea Lewis and Mr. Tadeh Mardirossian. Your class president is LINDSEY LAM.
Get in the habit of checking the school's website.
Parents, students and alumni are invited to check the school website (www.glendalehigh.com) often for information. Just put the web site in your Favorites folder or bookmark it. You can check the Daily Bulletin every school day for announcements once the regular school year begins. Pictures from most school events are posted on the website. Not sure of the bell schedule for a certain day? Check the website. Need a calendar of upcoming events? Check the website.
Parents - Clearing Absences
If your student is absent you will receive an automated phone call telling you they have missed one or more classes on a school day. If this information is a surprise to you, ask your student about the missed classes. If you need to EXCUSE your child due to illness or other reason, the phone number to call can be found here.
