GILBERT ABRAMYAN, class of 1995
All-America
Gilbert Abramyan,
a powerful left-handed holeman, was the first GHS player to make first team all-CIF. He was the Nitros' leading scorer in 1994 scoring 92 goals and
was named All-America honorable mention. He led GHS, the CIF's 7th-ranked team, with seven goals during the first
round playoff loss to 8th-ranked Whittier. In that game Whittier scored the winning goal with three seconds left.
