LAWRENCE OCON, class of 1988
Gary Nelson Memorial Award
Considered one of the finest holeman ever at GHS, Lawrence Ocon was paired with
the Todd Byer to power the 1986 team and was the star of the 1987 team. He was named Pacific League co-MVP in '87
and was all-CIF after leading GHS to a second place finish behind Muir. He powered GHS, scoring 111 goals during
his senior year.
