Vatche Shirikjian was one of the nation's premier high school goalies as a senior at GHS. As a club player at Trojan Club, he was a USWP All-American after his freshman year in high school. At GHS he was a three-time all-league player, including being named team MVP for three years. His senior year, he earned All-CIF, All-Southern California and NISCA All-America recognition. His brilliant career continued at Pepperdine University where he was the starting goaltender for the Waves.
