CIF co-Player of the Year
The greatest Nitro of them all
Kevin Witt led
GHS to its first Pacific League title and first league crown since 1979. His eight goal performance paced the Nitros
to a heart-stopping 17-16 win over Crescenta Valley at CV. Witt was named co-CIF
Player of the Year and co-Pacific League MVP in 1998 and led
GHS to the second round of the CIF playoffs. Kevin was a USWP All-American for Rose Bowl Aquatics and was a first
team all-CIF player as a junior and senior. His senior year he was named to the second team All-America. Witt is
the holder of almost every GHS water polo record. He was named NCAA water polo All-American for three seasons at
Loyola Marymount University.
