How to join the water polo team

Boys water polo is a fall sport and starts on August 20.
Girls water polo is a winter sport and starts in November.

BUT BOTH TEAMS PRACTICE IN JULY. Then...

Boys are expected to attend practices starting Monday, August 20. Times will be announced later. We anticipate 2 practices a day starting August 20 Monday through Friday until school starts. This stage is known as Hell Week. When you attend you will understand how it got its name.

Girls- Your first practices will be when school begins in September. You are encouraged to tryout for Coach Garberson's swim conditioning class to help you prepare for your season in November.

All players must have a valid physical exam to participate in sports at GHS.

Where to get your school physical exam

There is no cost for fall and winter water polo. Players may decide to purchase a team swim suit and T-Shirt.
