Amy Bishop introduction by Gervea Ornopia

Hi, my name is Gervea Ornopia, and I am honored to speak on behalf of my best friend, Amy Lauren Bishop.

Amy was never an ordinary person. She has always had a unique personality that defines athleticism, intelligence, beauty, and kindness. I knew that she would leave a legacy behind for others to admire and follow.

It is difficult to mention all of her amazing accomplishments and talents. She has courageously attempted almost every sport from volleyball, soccer, and softball to even dancing on our number one drill team. Who would have thought that she could join all these teams while balancing an outstanding GPA of  4.041, devoting her time playing on her travel softball team, being varsity softball captain for three years, performing hours of community service, being freshman class president, sophomore class vice president and even being the girls’ athletic representative in ASB. You can say she’s an exemplary student. However, there is more to her than just her accomplishments and involvement on and off campus. She is a kindhearted person who ensures that everyone around her is happy and upbeat.

She is a true best friend who makes people laugh, smile, and dance. But most of all, she is a gifted and heartwarming individual who is not afraid to share her personality with others.

Someday, she will ROCK the world.

Amy, you will always remain in the hearts of those who respect and love you. I wish you success in everything that you do, but I know that even without these wishes, you will be A-mazing! I will surely miss receiving warm hugs from you and seeing your beautiful smile! I love you Amy!
