Next year, GUSD will be offering full-day kindergarten for every student! The kindergarten schedule will be similar to grades 1-3.

The additional time will include lunch on campus (if not already in place) and provide opportunities for nurturing students' social-emotional and developmental growth. 

GUSD convened a Full Day Kindergarten Advisory Committee of educators, curriculum experts, school administrators, and district leaders to prepare for the new full-day schedule. The committee will propose a full-day kindergarten schedule and determine the professional development needs and operational changes that will ensure our success.
