Glendale Community College has partnered with Herbert Hoover High School in the Early College Academy (ECA). ECA is an innovative way for high school students to earn both a high school diploma and complete two-years of college in the time it takes to go to high school—saving the student both time and money.

Students who participate in the ECA can complete up to two years of college for FREE before graduating from high school!   Students enter the ECA in 10th grade. Courses will be taught by GCC professors and held at Hoover High School during the school day. The program will be open to all GUSD students. Students wishing to enroll in the ECA whose resident school is not Hoover must obtain an intra-district permit and transfer to Hoover.
