Superintendent's Facility Advisory Committee

The Superintendent's Facility Advisory Committee (SFAC) was established in June 2011 to ensure the district provides facilities, technology, and equipment that support GUSD’s educational program as outlined in the provisions of Measure S and the district’s strategic plan. The SFAC reviews capital facilities projects and makes recommendations to the Superintendent and Board of Education related to those expenditures.

The SFAC is comprised of nine members appointed by the Superintendent. SFAC members are appointed to either two- or three-year terms, and may not serve more than five consecutive years. The Committee meets twice a month on Mondays.
